In alcuni dei nostri precedenti post vi abbiamo parlato della possibilità, anche per gli studenti italiani, di iscriversi al corso di Laurea in Medicina, tenuto in lingua internazionale, in Bulgaria.
We briefly summarize the advantages here:
- Less competition compared to Italian universities and, therefore, a greater probability of passing the initial entrance test
- In general, a low cost of living in Bulgaria, which means for families having to bear lower costs for the food and accommodation of their children during all the years of study
- Possibility of obtaining a prestigious qualification "within" an EU country and therefore widely usable within all EU countries, including Italy, for access to specialization courses or the profession, without having to take further exams.
Once we have remembered what are the premises that should push families to consider enrolling in one of the faculties of Medicine in Bulgaria for their children, we instead want to talk about how to access them.
As we have already told you in the past, both in Sofia and in the other main cities in Italy there is a dense network of Italian students away from home.
How do you become an Italian medical student in Sofia or in some other center in Bulgaria?
The first step that we would like to indicate firstly to the children who have this project and, secondly, also to their families is to contact specialized companies such as VR and Partners who can follow them in all phases and in all the necessary procedures upon enrollment in the Faculty of Medicine.
Why join VR and Partners? Because having professionals on site who are able to take care of important matters such as finding accommodation can be a decisive support, especially when you find yourself in a new country where you are completely ignorant of the language.
In order to enroll in Bulgarian medical faculties it is necessary to first pass the entrance test promoted by the individual faculties.
When? As regards the Sofia Medical University, the deadline for registering for the entrance test to Medicine is scheduled for 11 September 2021 and the lessons will begin from the 14th of October of the same year.
Aside from the capital, Sofia, there are other locations with high-level medical courses. For example, at the Medical University Plovdiv, registrations for the entrance test must be submitted by September 3rd and lessons will begin on October 1st.
Finally we would like to report and share information relating to the Medical University of Vara. Here the entrance tests for enrollment in the Faculty of Medicine will be held shortly before September 4th, the date on which the same exams will be held, while the quarter foresees a start of lessons on October 1st.
